Today, my daughter and I volunteered for the first time at the Dallas, TX 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Words cannot even describe the atmosphere in that place. All the firefighters worked together and showed respect for their fallen brothers. I have never been around so many polite gentlemen in my life. So many of them, after having climbed 110 flights, actually thanked me for volunteering! It was an amazing experience and we plan to continue volunteering in future climbs. Thank you firefighters for helping us to remember. May we never forget!!
